Hottest day in Scotland

Here's a good news weather story: today has been the hottest day of the year in Scotland with temperatures reaching 22C in Aberdeen and with us in central Scotland 20C.

Now for those of you basking in tropical temperatures that might seem distinctly cold but believe me for Scotland in March it is a heatwave.

And what did I do? sat in the sun reading the Sunday Observer.
Bliss.

Another bonus is that the clocks have gone forward so I was able to get this sunset photograph while taking a walk up the road.
