Argyll's Secret Coast
We drove from Dunoon across to the western coast of the Cowal Peninsula; down to Colintraive then up to Strachur. We spent a pleasant few hours relaxing in the sun at Portavadie Marina, watching the odd yacht coming and going and people pottering on their boats. The scenery is stunning, but the hazy sunshine rendered my landscape pictures less than perfect.
The vegetation along the shore was lush and varied. These Yellow Skunk Cabbage were just north of Colintraive.
