permission to land!

Summer time arrived here today, as in the official GMT and in the blue sky, the heat and a sense of get outside and enjoy the day, BIG TIME!
We were both delighted to find that we could still sort of walk after yesterdays excursions! The sunglasses went on, grass got cut, the garden got gardened and we got back on the bikes for a glorious afternoon ride around the lanes. Somehow we just found ourselves riding past Hacketts as the musicians were starting the Sunday afternoon session. Plenty of friends were outside enjoying the evening sun and it would have been very bad form not to stop. A pint of Guinness never tasted so good! Excellent music and lovely company.
A very good day and plenty to be thankful for, especially to this hover fly just as I pressed the shutter!
