Cardiff - Amsterdam - Helsinki

Friday was my first time flying from Cardiff Airport. We had been invited to Helsinki for the weekend, and rather than take the train down to London we decided to take a plane to Amsterdam.

Cardiff Airport is only 30 minutes drive from home and KLM fly from Cardiff to Amsterdam and from there to Helsinki. Being able to leave the car at Cardiff Airport and get a plane from there was wonderfully convenient.

All the connections were timely, the KLM staff were helpful and the flights were uneventful. Everything worked.

Next time we go abroad we'll look at whether flying from Cardiff is a possibility.
