Color

I gave each boy a large, white canvas and a plate full of beautiful acrylics this morning. They both created the most amazing works of art. I am truly surprised by what they both made. I was thinking of taking them to work, but now I'm wondering how lovely they would be on our walls at home.

While they were painting, I took a hack at some watercolor. Sadly, I did not inherit the amazing painting talents of my aunts and grandmother. I just don't really get it. I think I'm too linear and literal. That's how I see it. Anyhow, I managed this, though I'd have liked it a bit more abstract. It's for my youngest who adores the movie The Red Balloon.
