Gray Day

It was a gray day, but certainly lined with silver because we did get some rain. For a while it poured and the wind blew. Just before the dark of evening, the sun shone through a few holes in the clouds.

Then the patio dried and the pups were so glad; strolling in the rain to find a place to "go" is not their idea of fun. Draping them in towels and drying their fur is not my idea of fun. I actually put a second coat on little Chloe as she heads out the door because she gets so cold. Max and Mitzi always act like they are jealous that Chloe is getting special attention, but Max and Mitzi have wonderful coats of fur and cold is not in their vocabulary.

It's been a fun afternoon of staying-in with the fireplace warming us and watching the rain fall. I think tomorrow we'll wake to a day bright with sun, but if more rain arrives, we'll be thrilled. Have a good week.
