Venus, Jupiter and the Crescent Moon

I don't know whether you will be able to see this image very well. There were a couple of neighbours out last night trying to photograph this sight. The image is even better if you zoom in as you can see the texture of the moon and there appears to be some kind of flare around venus. As I'm not a Astronomist I don't know what any of that kind of thing means, all I know is it takes my breath away.
