Go for Gold!

Todays blip is one of the Olympic Gold medals for London 2012 .

They are currently on display at the British Museum currently and are amazing to see ,both this one and the one for the Paralympics which has braille on it .They are much bigger than I expected and look pretty heavy to me .
They depict "Nike' the winged greek goddess of victory and the Partheonon in the background .I think she is on other previous medals as well .
We did a tour around the area where the Olympics will be later in the year and the Stadia all look fantastic -it should be a great show !
