Murano

When Margaret died a few years ago I was a little bit sad. She was my mothers youngest sister and a bit reclusive.
She travelled to Paris in 1946 I am told, then devoted her life to looking after her parents.
How she came to possess this Murano figurine, I have no idea but I'd like to think that my spinster aunt had a lover from Venice who bestowed this favour upon her as a gift of some reverence ......................
