Carpark

Skiing today at Roundhill - absolutely cracker day. We're here with a bunch of other people and it was a beaut day for some skiing, BBQs's, beer, and bike riding!

The carpark here must be one of the best. You park right beside the slopes, drag out the tables, chairs, BBQs, send the kids off skiing, and just soak up the views!

Adam had a lesson today, he's turning into a gun and even venturing into the kids "jump" area. Hannah got up skiing and had a number of successful runs down the poma. So an excellent day.

Then at the end, KD (occasional bliper) and I jumped on our bikes and headed back to Tekapo. As he has blipped, we had a screaming 8km ride down the road, treated to sublime views of the lake, and these very mountains. Then 25km back along the lake on what had to be one of the most perfect evenings. Just stunning.

BTW, the big hill in this photo is Mt Cooks. NZ's highest mountain ;-)
