Wynnum Harbour

Jo and I went down to Wynnum Harbour to watch the start of a kayaking event this morning. Unfortunately, like most other events this Manly Festrival weekend, it was poorly organised. Kayakers were coming and going as they pleased and there didn't seem to be any particular start or finish...or many kayakers for that matter.

Anyway it was nice to just sit on the harbour wall, watch the pelicans and the occasional directionless kayaker. This was the photographic result which I have done before on several occasions.

This evening I had a mind to go fishing out on the bay. Unfortunately the wind didn't drop enough so I canned that idea. Maybe tomorrow night. My boat is ready to go.
