Ladybirds and maths

I've got a big conflict inside. For two days edinburgh weather has been mediterranean. 20 degrees. people pretty naked walking around. meadows so crawded you have to step on people to go from one end to the other. and afterwards you smell like a burger. blue sky all day. unbelievable. unbelievable. so i've been loving it a lot. but still. i don't believe. i don't believe you edinburgh weather. you're teasing me, i know it. i've learnt not to trust you by now! snow in a week's time i'm sure.
in the meantime..
having lunch by the golf courts in the scientific campus, Viktor's chasing a poor ladybirds being fed by the kind Douglas but discarding the food. follows maths workshop held outside on the grass with tutor and lecturer coming along and enjoying the sunshine making fourier transforms bearable.
