Katy in springtime

I have lived in this house 12 years and when I first moved in I was given a miniature apple tree sapling as a house warming present - a Katy apple tree, sweet, red and delicious. For the first few years our crop increased by single figures. In the last 3 years we have had more apples than we can cope with. She's a beautiful little tree and she bursts into spring so prettily. The sunshine of the last 2 days has brought out the very beginnings of what will be blossom and then apples. Captured here almost giving a glimpse of this summers gifts.

In other news it's been a manic day but feels like 'stuff' has been acheived.
