Wet walk 4
We had a wee jaunt around the village of Cramond today as part of our final days in Scotland. Just off the coast of said village is the Island of Cramond which is connected at low tide by a paved causeway. As a girl Shiela was nearly stuck on the island for the rising tide, and finished the walk with wet feet. We didn't want to repeat that this time, but we failed to get moving quick enough. Our journey only got us half way before we turned back to play it safe.
The pillars on the right are left overs from WWII, having been built to stop submarines from traveling up the forth. Now they just make for a good example of leading lines.
