Art in the ruins

I spent a couple of hours cycling round the edges of Christchurch city centre today with Geoff. The number of empty lots was incredible and I constantly asked myself "What was here before?".

The city looks so different to how I remember it, the odd fragment triggering memories of when I lived there in 2004.

Many "red stickered" buildings were boarded up and I really liked how the board on this particular house gave the impression of a real home.
