Eye on the Prize

My stained glass feeder was almost empty, and this little downy woodpecker was after the very last peanut in the morning sunlight today!

A beautiful morning gave me many blip opportunities...goldfinches, titmouse wings, my cardinal pair, one of the wrens singing at full voice, close-up of Mrs. RBW's head, and the feeding courtship of white-breasted nuthatches (who were way too fast for me!)

Al voted for this one, so this one it is!

Thank you all so much for sending my cardinal lovers to the spotlight page. As shy as they are, I didn't tell them or I'd never get them to pose again! I'll thank all of my blip buddies on their behalf.
