Tree Plea

Another warm day today, it's great isn't it. I was able to go out for
a short wander at lunchtime to try and take some of it in.

I came across these signs attached to three trees (one behind me,
couldn't quite get them all in). They said

"I want to be beautiful just like you?"
"Do you really want to kill me?"
"I'm for the chop. Can you help me?"

I can only assume that some nearby building work is the reason for
some concerned individual(s) trying to voice their concerns for the
tree's welfare.

At the very least it made you stop to look at the trees that so
many must walk past without a second though
