Self portrait with Highland cow
Pictures of Highland cattle are one of the stereotyped images folk have of Scotland, along with bagpipes and tartan, and I know one of the first things that foreign visitors ask is to see some of these big hairy creatures.
Well, there are few in this part of the central belt so when I accidentally stumbled across this one - while out blipping-I couldn't resist.
Also, how come I have managed to put up 221 photos without one of a Highland cow? it had to happen.
So this is it.
( Local will recognize this as the Sheriffmuir road with Dumyat in the background.)
