Bird on a Wire

Spent the hottest day of the year at my desk in front of a computer for 7 hours today. Editing, correcting, amending. Grumble.

We did stage a small revolt at lunch time though and march, en masse, to the co-op to launch a raid on their ice cream freezer. First Magnum of the year in March. Whodathunk.

Decided I should take my new Nike running leggings for a trot tonight after my sedentary day. Although my computer tells me it's 19 degrees tonight there were pockets of really chilly air along the cycle track. I feel like the weather shouldn't be this hot at this time of year, and that something's really wrong if it's like 2 degrees below zero in the mornings (as it was yesterday) and 18 in the afternoon...

Anyway, spotted this plump woodpigeon hanging out on the phonelines on my way home. Kinda liked the silhouette against the sun (and look how clean my lens is!).
