Thistle Down

Beautiful Words

Beautiful words...alive,
Formed in the mind.
And sweetly put together,
Like metaphors...rich, red, wined.

All feathery...in tufts of white,
Just like a shining ray.
With tinkling bells...set free,
On tongues...through out the day.

Words of praise and honor,
Are joy-fully to hear.
They rise and fall upon the air,
Like little sounds of cheer.

Love bears forth in harmony,
It has the sweetest tone.
And runs directly to the heart,
It's message is well known.

O beautiful words upon the air,
So soft...so bright...so new.
Love words...formed within the mind,
And spoken...just for you.
