Day eighty-nine: happy birthday!!

So, today I embark on a new year. Hello, New Day!

Today has been lovely! Terrific even! I had 92 friends and family members take the time to wish me a happy birthday on Facebook. Ninety-two! I had several others call, email, and text me happy birthday as well. I went out to dinner with the two L's. I had a student worker stop and get others to sing happy birthday to me. The amount of love was just overwhelming. I am just in awe.

I also picked up my mug from my birthday party extravaganza. It did not come out the way I thought it was going to, but it is beautiful and special in its own way. I am looking forward to drinking many a cup of coffee or tea out of it. :)

It will help me to remember that life may not turn out the way you expected, but it is indeed a beautiful gift to be savored! Here's to wholeness!
