It's all about the light...
When you are a photographer, you have to learn to read the light, see how it casts shadows and be able to see the potential of a rather dull subject - come alive with rays of light coming through.
I adore stained glass windows. It is the colour in them that I love. It always amazes me how they change drastically when it is dull outside, but then when the light streams through, they just come alive. I love the window in this image - but also LOVE LOVE LOVE the colours cast onto the wall. It gives it another dimension.
This was the only decent photo taken at the wedding photography course. Why? Because the models decided not to show. It was such a waste of a day and we were all really cross that they could be so inconsiderate not to show up. They were getting paid for it as well!! We went over theory instead and headed home early.
Bit disappointing, but it was nice to see friends on the course and also had lunch outside - it was GLORIOUS! It is incredible how the weather picks your mood up.
Saturday was spent with hubby food shopping and chilling at night with a drinkie and a film. Was good! Needed to have a quiet night for a change!
