Hawthorn Shield Bug

A very quick blip from the garden today. I saw this 'bug' on our dead lavender bush. Thank you to MaggiePye for identifying it for me!

The sun is STILL shining so off out for lunch :)

Looking forward to the rest of the day too, no swimming club or football training :)
