Cable drums for desks :-/

This is what I'm working on at the moment
It is the MCC (Motor Control Centre) at the works at Brechin.
Soon the works will be controlled from here under the dictates of a PLC (programmable logic controller)
The motor starters themselves have very little wiring, very little hard wired logic here, it's all done with in the plc.
This is the realm of what is referred to as ICAT ( instrumentation, Control, Automation,Telemetry )
Someone who works for ICAT is referred to as an ICAT
These are very elusive people, you know where they've been but are rarely seen in their supposed natural habitat.
They may sometimes be seen on training days, and only if there is tea and cakes on the go.
It's been another beautiful day here, I haven't seen much outside of here today.
