Heron spotting....

Spotted this gorgeous heron at Inverleith Park this afternoon, and was cursing the fact I only had my compact with me, but thankfully he seemed quite chilled, and I was able to take a few different photos of him...sadly, no real close-ups, but a couple of decent ones.

So, what was with the clouds and less than blue skies this afternoon, hmmmm?
