lovin' the sun

It's been an amazing day. The breeze finally dropped and the full warmth of the sun became apparent. It's been like a summer's day, in fact better than many a summer's day.
Shorts went on, and garden furniture came out, and for a while it was even uncomfortably warm for gardening and we were forced to retire to recliners for an hour or so!
I'm not complaining, but it seems to me its much warmer than the end of March should be.

This is clematis montana rubens twining through the flowering currant. Again, it's flowering much earlier than normal.
