9pm and still no blip...
One of our closest calls yet. After Chris came back from running and Annie came back from governor-ing at the boarding unit at school, we were still without blip.
A couple of times while out and about today, Annie had wanted to stop the car and take a photo - but no time. A particular favourite was the sign for the village name ("Cow Roast") where Annie took her Mini for its recall (to stop a risk of exploding apparently - how dull will drives be from now on without that risk?). She wanted a picture of the sign with a field of worried cows behind, but sadly it was empty. We're sure this and other signs will crop up at some point as it's a hobby of Annie's collecting silly, real word place names (Bunny, Barnacle, Mousehole, Stocking, Lover, etc.).
Chris was holed up in the office all day, missed out on the sunshine and hottest day of the year so far (not that he's at all bitter about it). With the lighter evenings now here however, the first club off road run tonight was a treat to end the day. Got home and was shoved back out the door to photograph the moon!
Following the comment by Rowan, I got shoved back out the door to retake the picture with some different settings. I've uploaded the result and the original can be found here.
