Marble Musicians

These little angels are inside Holy Trinity Church near Sloane Square in London.

This wonderful and very large Arts & Crafts church was designed by John Sedding and built in 1888-90. It was badly damaged by bombing during WW2 and rebuilt by the 1960s, after which the church wanted to demolish it and replace it with something smaller. John Betjeman and the Victorian Society came to its rescue. Well done, both.
