Another full day teaching....but at least we got an early finish.

Went for a couple of hours fishing....caught some nice roach...and then a carp took the piss for an hour....cruising round just under the surface, five feet to my left, two feet out from the bank. I tried everything, on the bottom, up in mid water, really close to the surface, maggot, double maggot, triple maggot, a bit of my butty, sweetcorn....the bugger nudged the float a few times...it even sucked the bait in and spat it out. I gave up at 7.00 and went home.

The boss made a pork, noodle, mushroom, honey, soy sauce, chilli something, very nice it was too.

Two days to go!
