Runway Congestion !

22 degrees and overcast today.

Big girls went to see 'The Hunger Games' and all gave it a big thumbs up.

Stephen, me, No 3 had a walk around Lake Tuggeranong and found a lovely wee park. Loads of little yellow parrots and cockateils, but they were too fast for me to get a picture of them.

Lovely BBQ at Adam and Tiali's. Topic of conversation was all the jobs on offer here and the booming economy. Last time we were here (8 years ago) the pound had a higher exchange rate and everything was very cheap. We've noticed a huge jump in prices since then - more than double the equivalent UK price! However salaries are a LOT higher.

For all the frustrated IT people out there in jobs where you salary has been consistently downgraded compared to the cost of living, or if you are slaving away unappreciated in a big Financial organisation (no names but you know who you are!) that's outsourcing everything - have a look at the jobs here. Lots of chat about emigrating. Nothing happens here - the news is usually about something daft or the Royals.
