Saffwy under power

Ignoring the weather forecast, put the outboard on the boat and set off for the far end of Coniston.
Went really well, fast tickover, no wake and five miles of lake covered in an hour. John N had a good time on the tiller!
Shut the motor off and started fly fishing until the rain got too heavy, then tried spinning then trolling and still it rained.
Absolutely wet through despite waterproofs.
Bl**dy weather, no fish either.
