Pelican

So today a trip to Healesville Sanctuary in our newly obtained hire car. Let John and Jill rest after the traumas of yesterday.

Loads of pictures but I really liked this pelican who posed very nicely for me (lots of blurry shots where animals had the cheek to move!)

We drove through the Yarra Valley which was beautiful and stopped at Yerring Station at an old colonial hotel for coffee.

Best experience was seeing a platypus -amazing creature. They lay eggs and feed their young with milk so are pretty unique. Not as rare as I thought but very hard to spot in the wild.
