A slow start to the day but a bit less lazy than yesterday.

We headed out to the park early afternoon and we were lucky again as there we were the only people there. Amelie attempted a few things that she hasn't before, and managed them which impressed me! We came down the big slide together which was great fun, I'd forgotten how much fun slides were! I must admit I did go down a few more times on my own...

I eventually decided we should go for a walk and persuaded Amelie to go in the buggy as we were beside a busy road and she had insisted on taking her shoes off. Half way up the road and she was begging me to let her walk. I told her she could as long as she held my hand as we were beside a busy road. She agreed. Less than 2 minutes later she was back in the buggy as she refused to hold my hand. Its so frustrating as I want to give her more freedom but I don't trust her not to run away into the road/in front of a car and I don't trust her to listen when I say stop. I think I'll have to make sure we go lots of places where the roads are quieter and where she can run along beside me with her reins on.

After our walk we went to a shop to find some lollies but could only find ice creams. Amelie was quite confused by her chocolate covered ice cream, she didn't want to eat the white chocolate!
