out and about

I was just about to leave for a bike ride when I saw my husband sitting on the back porch step with Michael, our elderly neighbour. Michael is rather reclusive, so I like that this photo hides him behind the door.

My ride took me up to Glenkiln, into the hills behind our house. This is a land of geese, grouse and also some famous statues by Henri Moore and Auguste Rodin. I used to cycle up here quite often, but this was the first time since my accident last March. With the wind in my hair ( helmet!) and sun on my face...I know why I am back on the bike.:-)
