My thanks to Nmbr-1 who located this little gem. And to Tabasco who patiently waited while I photographed. And informed me, after I'd taken a buzz - ill - ion images. I was shooting the wrong cactus. We power walked to the right one. I have a tee time, after all. What a difference, One beautiful. The other astonishing.

I usually don't get excited about flowers. Then, again, I'm not sure I've tried photographing them.
