Last year's grapes

2011 was a bloody mess for the aspiring vintner.

The year started well, with a silent vineyard.
I did quite a bit of work on the wiring and the tensioning of it
Right on time the pruning was done
I mowed the grass in march already
A year ago, the vines started bleeding, a sign life got back into them
Yeah! In may the vines took of with the Leon Millot flowering
Alas! That same night a frost of -8 visited the vineyard, with devastating effect
The vines recuperated quite wel and became actually pretty to look at
The harvest never became more of a kilo of sour grapes....
Most of it I didn't pick anyway, of which this is the result...
