Good Earth

Queues across the nation at the modest possiblity we might have a fuel tanker driver strike the week after next. What with that, talk of drought, high summer temperatures for a week one could be forgiven for thinking the country's gone mad.The government clearly affected by the dizzying temperatures have been acting out a cross between an episode of Yes Minister and Falty Towers all week. Fear not, apparently it might snow next week.

Todays blip is about service as usual, the farmer tilling the land, sowing seeds, planning for a harvest - in todays instant food, media driven, hysterical world, I found it settling to see that land being prepared and worked sustainably. I liked the warm colours too in the good soil.
