Why the kindle will NEVER win!

LH and RH are locked in a dispute about kindles. RH loves hers, LH hoards books.

These books are the bible for Scottish Castle enthusiasts. 5 Volumes absolutely jam packed with sketches, drawings and descriptions. Macgibbon and Ross were architects who toured Scotland in the late 19th century and recorded EVERY castle they could find. An absolutely incredible feat that has stood the test of time and is still the first port of call when doing research at work. Amazingly when they finished, Macgibbon and Ross clearly found themselves at a loose end and subsequnelty produced an equally majestic study of all Scotland's churches. Madness. LH has wanted these for years and finally got them last week.

The excitmeent of opening the book. The crisp white pages, the smell, the feel... can't get that from a download.
