Bonjour Tante Margarite....

....this is my old aunt Margaret. She's 91 and lives in Brussels. She was a member of the resistance during the war and is a truly remarkable woman....too many stores to tell here. Her mother and my great grandmother were sisters.

Her son, Jean-Paul Hautier is the presenter of the morning radio show on national La Premiere radio (the same slot and target audience as Terry Wogan) and bizarrely also presents the Belgian Eurovision coverage.......you might say he's the Belgian El Tel, but I don't think he'd thank me for the comparison....sorry JP!
Constance, his daughter, is an intelligent and stunning young woman and a credit to the family.

I spent a lovely afternoon with them, exchanging stories and drinking champagne.
