A Suffolk Eye

Springtime behind the bike shed

Last year we got a bike shed as our wedding present - lucky lucky us - and it gave the opportunity at long long last to grub up the world's most depressing laurel hedge.

It just squatted there fatly and glowered. Gosh, I hated it.

So now when I look out of my kitchen window and I see lovely springtime arriving in pots I don't just smile.

I dance (metaphorically) on its grave. In cleated boots.
