Waverley Exposed

Called in to Edinburgh Waverley station after work to collect tickets for Wally I who is heading of to London on sleeper tonight, and noticed the new structures are taking shape.

It is not only TRAMS' roadworks that we Edinburgh folk have to put up with just now ... the station seems to be getting worse by the day and here's a birds-eye view of platform 8/9 without its roof and the new walkway in from Market Street

... looks like it will be a curvy affair, at least I hope so, because if not we have serious engineering problems with that structure not being upright!
