Beloved Hiking Boots

I wore these boots from one end of the Grand Canyon to the other on a four day rim to rim hiking adventure last May.

They didn't quite fit right on the down hill. Figured that out about 2 hours into the two day, down into the canyon, portion of our trip. Ouch! They were absolutely perfect for anything Minnesota had to offer during my training. It was an unwelcome surprise and all there was to do was to just keep hiking. Eventually lost both big toe nails.

Blipped them because they are going back to REI for the next size up before my Zion/Bryce Canyon trip in May. Hate to see the red dust of the Grand Canyon go.
