My Lobster

This is a plastic lobster my mother bought in the 1960s and was given to me as a toy in the 1970s.

It lay in the loft for years, but staged a grand comeback in 2003 as a garden feature at the caravan.

Despite being outside for 10 highland winters, it's remarkably unscathed which is a testament to the wonders of plastic.
