Hello weekend

Totally uninspiring blip today.

What I difficult day! Today we announced potential redundancies at work at a desire to offshore some of our roles to India. It went down like a lead balloon and now as a management team we have to decide how we go about the exercise. Great eh? I got caught up the entire day in trying to discuss concerns with my staff and trying to understand what in reality this means for my teams.

Needless to say the weekend couldn't have come at a better time! :-) This called for a cheeky pint at one of our favourite pubs which had a beers garden for us to soak up the last of the sunshine.

Time to forget about work and enjoy the weekend. Monday will be round soon enough!
