Oh i do like to be beside the seaside...

I've had a lovely day out today with my friend. We caught a train to Paignton, a few miles down the coast, which was luckily still basking in sunshine with clear blue skies. After a very tasty pub lunch of cajun chicken and chips with a large wine spritzer we walked along the promenade to enjoy these rather colourful beach huts. After all the exertion we then crashed out on the grass sunbathing for an hour! A visit to the seaside wouldn't be complete without a go on the penny falls in the amusement arcade on the pier, so, being last of the big spenders, i had a good 50 penceworth of excitement. (I'm easily pleased)
Now just catching our breaths before having a wander out into town later to sample the delights of a very nice looking Tapas bar. What a great break from routine. :-))
