Stone the crows

This bird is on one of the columns in the Natural History Museum. It is a very beautiful building in it's own right and all the columns are ornately carved; there is an incredible amount of detail in the building.

I went along to see the Scott of the Antarctic exhibition, which was very interesting. Whatever opinions are of Scott, the expedition did valuable scientific work and the men bravely and determinedly endured very hostile conditions to do this.

Later I went to the Hockney exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts. It seems they have trees made out of broccoli in Yorkshire.
