Easter Egg Earrings

Tonight we had a great evening, myself and a bunch of friends decorated eggs for Easter. These two are pretending to be earrings.

We have two girl geese in the garden. When they started sitting we took all their eggs away because there is no gander. We put a load of duck eggs underneath instead so we shall see what arrives in a week or two! Anyway we had loads (28) goose eggs. we emptied each one by making a whole at each end and blowing out the innards. We also have a load of duck eggs as every time I use them I have been blowing them to keep the egg shells in tact. (except of course if we're having boiled eggs).

So, back to the ladies. Using glue we covered all our eggs in beautifully patterned tissue paper. We put hooks on them and will hang them up with ribbon. last year we had a big branch from the garden to hang them all from. That can be tomorrow's project.
