Pink sky at night

My dad always use to say 'red sky at night shepherds delight, and red sky in the morning shepherds warning'. He was a farmer so knew about these things. I'm hoping the pink sky we had this evening is a sign of better weather to come after the rain of Saturday and this afternoon.
