A Beautiful Family

Today was my wife's parents' 56th wedding anniversary, and I got to help them celebrate!

Later, she and I together worked to develop a relationship with my mother's cat in preparation for her (Mother and cat) coming home to live with us. My ears have been plugged all day, so I got to believe my wife's description of the cat's purring as wifey gave kitty some long-needed petting.

And tonight by email, I read of long years of hurt separation in another branch of my family being healed with love and gratitude.

Had I not already been convinced of God's grace in my life, surely today's events would convince me.

Tonight I will sleep well with sweet dreams, knowing tomorrow will work out just fine.

Life is good.
