Garden Birds

Daughter gave me the day off so I dropped her off at the stables with a young male from her school who wanted to experience 'horses' and I set off for lunch with a friend. We returned to her house where she proceeded to make a big smorgersbord of fruit and bread for her birds then we sat and watched as they came down for a feast. They have a beautiful garden which attracts plenty of the feathered species but sadly, as with all SA stories, their neighbours were held up last week by 5 gunmen and so they've decided that after 30 odd years they're going to have to move into a safer situation - pathetically sad!!

Then finally fetched daughter and went to dinnner with some friends. Last day here and it's dads birthday so family get together and then off to OR Tambo and back to desertsand!@#

By the way - Olive thrush L, black collared barbet Rt and grey Lurie at the bottom. These were just a few who enjoyed their usual lunch.
